Crafted for Pieces of Lasting Value

Hand restoration is a meticulous, hours-long craft, and it shines brightest on fine furniture and stone valued at $1,000 and above — where preserving the original is worth far more than replacing it. For pieces below that range, replacement is often the more economical choice, and during your assessment we will tell you honestly which way makes better sense.

The Restoration Method

Every repair — stone, wood, leather, panel or metal — follows the same nine-step discipline, judged on four things: levelness, colour, grain and gloss.

1

Assess the Damage

Read the damage four ways — levelness, colour, grain and gloss — before touching it.

2

Prep & Clean

Trim the edges with fine blades, degrease and de-dust; mask the surroundings with film and tape.

3

Fill & Level

Professional filler laid in thin layers, each heat-cured before the next.

4

Sand to Level

Worked from the edges inward through finer grits — the standard is 100% level.

5

Mix Colour On Site

Base colour mixed on the palette from black, white, red, yellow and brown pigments, matched under your light.

6

Hand-Draw the Grain

Stone veins and wood grain redrawn by hand with a fine brush, layered for depth.

7

Airbrush & Blend

Thin airbrushed coats, each dried before the next, until the repair melts into the surface.

8

Restore the Gloss

Clear coat and gloss agents bring back the original sheen; high-gloss stone fully cures within 24 hours.

9

Inspect from Every Angle

Solvent-wipe and blade tests, then checked against the light from every angle.

Colour That Holds

Layered, translucent colour work — the repair reads the same from the front, the side, and against the light.

No Halo, No Seam

No shiny ring around the patch, no visible edge where the repair ends.

Level & True to the Grain

Flat to the fingertip, with the original grain and texture drawn back in by hand.

Repair It, Don't Replace It

Keep the countertop, floor, door or sofa you already love — at a fraction of replacement cost.

Protected first, always: before any work begins, floors and surrounding surfaces are covered with protective film and masking tape — the repair should be the only trace we leave.

Before & After

Drag the handle to compare.

Hardwood floor refinishing — worn finish, scratches and dull traffic lanes sanded out, colour and gloss restored.

Leather sofa restoration — cracks filled and levelled, colour re-mixed on site and airbrushed back to an even finish.
